For Spring-Summer 2025, straps and metis leather join the Re-Play line, transformed into colorful, limited-edition bags.
Every season since 2022, Longchamp has presented a Re-Play line, an innovative and ecoconscious way to utilize its surplus materials, which contributes to the House’s sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing its carbon footprint. Two-tone straps from past collections are intricately woven by hand, crisscrossing each other playfully on bucket bags scheduled to land in boutiques in January 2025.
For the leather Re-Play line, each color is carefully selected from surplus stocks remaining from seasons past. In shades of deep red, vibrant orange and soft pink, or tones of eucalyptus, verbena and celadon, patchworks of metis leather reflect the color palette of Spring-Summer 2025.
The Re-Play line is part of the House’s CSR strategy. For Longchamp, every material has value, and its anti-waste ethos is a basis for re-creation and innovation. In fact, the Re-Play line is living proof that a committed approach can be both inventive and fun.
